Kathy La Macchia is the General Manager of the Grains & Legumes Nutrition Council (GLNC), a not-for-profit health promotion charity focused on the benefits of grains and legumes. With over 25 years of experience in the food and dietetics sectors, Kathy has held key leadership roles in nutrition strategy and communications across Australia, the Netherlands, the US, and Italy. Kathy is passionate about sustainability, plant proteins, gut health, and immunity, with a particular focus on improving health outcomes for infants, children, and the elderly.
