Mark is an experienced farmer with a PhD in Physics and a background in complex technical problem solving. He researches and practices traditional farming methods using advanced science with clean energy and water with minimal inputs aimed at international and regional sustainable development possibilities.
With over 150 peer-reviewed publications and over 20 years of farming experience on the family farm, Mark has been asked to advise leaders at all levels, from international, federal, state, to local in a diversity of topics. Mark’s experience spans energy system optimisation, sustainable transport electrification, carbon sequestration, renewable energy, traditional farming polycultures, functional foods, artificial intelligence, novel crop introduction and collaborative research.
