Lou Conway is the Director of Enterprise at the University of New England’s (UNE), including the UNE SMART Region Incubator (UNE SRI), commercialisation initiatives, and the UNE Regional Energy Futures strategy. Over the past seven years, the UNE SRI has supported over 250 startups in the New England North West region of NSW, fostering a vibrant community of founders who have achieved significant growth and investment.
Lou holds a PhD and continues to research regional development policy and programs. She is a passionate advocate for nurturing regional talent and building connections to support new and established businesses to enhance the local economy.
