The Summit will conclude with the opening and tour of the state-of-the-art SIFT (Food Technology Facility) at the Food Innovation Precinct Western Australia (FIPWA), near Mandurah, on 23 February.

The SIFT (Food Technology Facility) Project is a collaboration between WA State Government, the Future Food Systems CRC (FFS) and Murdoch University.
SIFT will be an open access facility that food companies can use to research and develop new products. As such it is intended to facilitate product innovation and development, reducing the hurdles of risk and cost involved when significant capital investment is required to take products to market.
